Our History
After a decade working in agencies and corporate environments, David fulfilled his dream of launching his own studio, Appleby Design, in Sydney.
With the arrival of the NBN, the chance to escape Sydney traffic was too good to pass up, leading to moves first to Wollongong and then to Taree.
Today, we work with clients across Australia, proving that great design doesn’t need a big-city postcode.
Founder
David completed formal training in graphic design at Randwick TAFE.
He credits his time working in the Web Enablement department at Optus with shaping his core goal: helping clients succeed through practical, user-focused design.
An early interest in computer art proved fortunate. As the industry grew increasingly technical, David naturally transitioned into web design, which remains his primary focus.
He also brings skills in illustration and photography, supporting a well-rounded and visually driven approach to each project.
