Snap Vector Tools and Transforms to Pixel Grid
Adobe added a nice new feature to Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC which makes the vector tools snap to the pixel grid.
I had wished for this in the past but now I have it I’m finding it frustrating. Sometimes I want it but most of the time I don’t.
Adobe turned snap to pixel grid on by default but I don’t always want my vector tools to snap to the grid. It took me a long time find out how to turn it off so I’ve decided to make a post on it to hopefully save others from the frustration.
It can be turned off and on under Preference > General. The tick box is at the bottom of the Options just above History. This is on a Windows version. I don’t have an Apple version to confirm it is in the same place.
It would be great if it could be toggled on/off under the View > Snap to menu like all the other snap options.
